Deres Horse Riding Center in Platanias, Crete, Greece are open year round welcoming horse riders and nature lovers and have been doing so for 20 years, come enjoy the scenic hills and peaceful valleys on the outskirts of Chania where there are a variety of activities for all ages. Come test your skills at archery, indulge in some hiking on a wonderful trail through the olive groves, take cooking lessons and learn how to cook simple and traditional recipes, there's an organic shop here too with organic products from the farm, and visit the horses, rabbits, peacocks and hens on the farm, or visit every September for the annual Wine and Raki Fest, they also welcome volunteers for various programs.
