Welcome to Cottage on the Hill, a charming Guest House overlooking St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

The Cottage on the Hill will capture your heart as it is within walking distance to the main Beach, village and golf course. The spacious, stylish executive rooms and delightful cottage include Persian carpets and original oil paintings. The rooms have private entrances, magnificent sea views, percale cotton linen and many comforts to spoil and pamper.

Cottage on the Hill Guest House consists of the Main House with The Bay Breakfast Room. You have a self catering options as well - The Guinea-fowl Cottage is a separate unit in front, about 30 meters from the Francolin and Mongoose Suites.

The 2 Executive Suites and Cottage are situated in an indigenous garden. Bird life is prolific and guests can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings as they laze at the Swimming pool or relax on their private decks.

The Francolin Suite is the upper unit and the Mongoose Suite is below. Both have private entrance and the spacious Mongoose Suite has a secluded garden area with natural fynbos surrounding it and a little bench to enjoy the abundant bird life that visit the garden.

Each unit is individually designed and decorated and equipped for self catering. All our units have ceiling fans and heaters, secure parking is provided on the property and the units are serviced daily.

There is an abundance of bird life in the fynbos garden and guests may be lucky enough to see Mongoose and Francolin. An ideal location for honeymooners. We accept children aged 14 years and upwards.

Cottage on the Hill is within easy walking distance of some of the best Eastern Cape Beaches, restaurants and shops. The village golf course and the new St. Francis Bay Links Golfing Estate, the Marina, Canals & Kromme River are all a few minutes away. Golf on the new St Francis Links, ocean- and canal cruises in St Francis Bay can also be arranged.
