Welcome to the Blue Ridge Estate, Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. The Blue Ridge Estate is set on a 20 acre property which enjoys a rural setting with stunning views across vineyards to the Richmond Ranges.
Marlborough offers a great selection of wineries, restaurants, walks and country drives to enjoy a range of scenery. It is also an ideal base from which to explore the magnificent Queen Charlotte or Pelorus Sounds or go ?Whale Watching? from Kaikoura. Other local attractions include golf, crafts, boutique food, local produce and beautiful gardens.
All rooms are well furnished and appointed, including quality linen, tea and coffee making facilities and tasting glasses for guests to enjoy their purchases from local wineries. All rooms are spacious, bright and airy and each opens out onto a deck with outside furniture from which to enjoy the relaxing rural and vineyard views.
Your hosts, Brian and Lesley Avery, moved to Marlborough in 2001, and since then have enjoyed tremendously the development of their property, including building an award winning home and growing a thriving vineyard.
Prior to planting their vineyard in 2001/2002, Brian with over 35 years? experience in the travel industry (both in New Zealand and Australia) is a ?mine of information? on all things New Zealand. He would be more than happy to help with any itinerary planning.
Both Brian and Lesley have travelled extensively and welcome international visitors and fellow New Zealanders to enjoy their home and surrounding gardens. Equally welcoming are Bella, the young black Labrador, and Meg, the ginger cat, who believes she is in charge of all!! Their home is a home for all guests to enjoy.
