Anto, Corsica, France was born in 1970. He is a painter, and responsible for the running of the local radio station, Radio Calvi Citadelle and D.J. He is living in Montemaggiore, his grandfather?s village, since the age of nine.
"I find pictures, take one part, enlarge it, reproduce it, deform it, transform it, recycle it.
These images are scenes in streets, real or imaginary, that I stride along : Corsica, Calvi, la Balagne, Paris, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Marrakech, Kyoto, Miami, Venice, San Francisco, Tokyo, New York.." Inspired by Pop Art , the themes that Anto, Corsica, France, tackles are the cinema, strip cartoons, the manga, video games, animation movies, music, hero's of the big and small screen.
