Chalets d' Anse Forbans is committed to lowing their impact on the environment and providing employment for the local people of Anse Forbans while delivering an unique experience for guests staying at Chalets d' Anse Forbans.

With this objective Chalets d' Anse Forbans has created local employment by allowing some of their garden space to be farmed by a local resident of Anse Forbans Mr. Marengo. Mr. Marengo is currently farming local produce such as Local Cabbage, Tomatoes and Chillies with a lot more planned for the future. The fresh produce is then made available to Chalets d' Anse Forbans guests.

Chalets d' Anse Forbans has a host of Seychelles recipes available for their clients in their library area and on their blog providing guests with ideas on what to cook for the day with what they have been able to purchase from Mr. Marengo, or being able to source from within, the Chalets tropical gardens.

The Chalets have also upgraded their tropical gardens surrounding the chalets hiring the local company Earth Quest. The gardens have increased their foliage bringing more colour and endemic plants and allowing an increased level of privacy between chalets. They have also increased the numbers of figs trees, chillies trees, citronelle plants to name but a few for the enjoyment of their clients.

Mrs Brigitte Haworth commented on the recent works at Chalets d' Anse Forbans "We are immensely proud of the transformation in our gardens as this is one of our unique selling points. We are here to serve and help our community and our latest initiative shows our commitment to reduce our environmental impact. Our clients always comment on how lush and well maintained our gardens are, and how they have enjoyed having the space to relax. "

Chalets d' Anse Forbans is built on a former coconut plantation and was opened in October 1994. The Seychelles self catering establishment of Chalets d' Anse Forbans consists of 12 beach chalets and 2 family chalets. All chalets are enjoy sea facing views and are merely steps away from the secluded beach of Anse Forbans.
