Nature's Paradise - Bungalow, Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia
|
Welcome to Nature’s Paradise in beautiful Marigot Bay, St. Lucia.
Marigot Bay is what you have in mind when you think “Tropical Paradise.”
Avocado House and Banana House are located on a quiet ridge high above the sea at Marigot Bay. The spectacular view of the Caribbean at sunset creates the mood. Each house is special. They feature four-poster beds, rattan couches, luxuriously tiled floors, full kitchens, large bathrooms and oversized balconies.
St. Lucia is natures gem in the Caribbean. Nature’s Paradise specializes in peace and privacy. Our Eco-Tours are tailored to your taste. They are personal and professional.
Welcome to our fabulous Bungalows
Avocado House and Banana House were designed with romance and privacy as the keys to a great vacation. Four posters Queen Size beds are draped with netting from Thailand. Constant trade winds make air conditioning unnecessary. Our large ceiling fans guarantee your comfort. Elegant nightstands feature pineapple lamps. The ceilings are high and angled to allow plenty of light and airflow. The floors are cool to the touch with elegant terra cotta tiles. The bathroom features a glass block shower and a built-in hair dryer. The sliding glass door opens onto a large balcony with those fabulous ocean views. Did we mention the two chaise lounges on your balcony?
Tropical Breakfast at Nature’s Paradise
Our continental breakfast begins at eight and lasts until you have finished dining on our fresh breads & muffins. Fresh fruit is always available. The seasons dictate which fruits are on the table. We have cereals, cheese, jams and teas, but our first love in the morning is the great St. Lucian coffee. Dining is in the main house. Breakfast is served with a new worldview.

At Nature’s Paradise, adventure is our way of life. We love to scuba the reefs and shipwrecks of St. Lucia. Nothing beats seeing a moray eel up close. The waters are teaming with brightly colored fish and coral formations.
When Jacque Cousteau invented scuba diving, he must have been thinking of St. Lucia. Underwater flowers decorate the seabed and tropical mermaids flutter past your mask in a blur of color. You are still on earth but you are weightless. Whether you are certified or a beginner, St. Lucia’s waters are some of the best in the in the world.
Eco-Expedition #1
It’s an hour and a half to Soufriere, and what a beautiful ride. We travel over rivers and through fishing villages and mountain ridges to the rain forest above Fond St. Jacques. We hike through St. Lucia’s famous Edmund forest reserve. After the trek (about 2 hours), you can bathe in the warm volcano waters at a local estate. Lunch at Dasheen is a must, if only for the view. The food is great too. There is more. The most beautiful garden in St. Lucia is the botanical garden. A great last stop before we head back to Marigot Bay
This tour (2 person min) includes snacks (bananas, mangos, chips) and coffee (or tea).
Hosts: David & Wanda Wallace
“I love St. Lucia because of its abundant rain forest, beautiful shore line and laid back lifestyle.” Wanda practices Tai Chi, Yoga and Eagle Claw Kung Fu. “Health and food are my two passions,” explains Wanda. “Our fruit, veggies and fish are always fresh. It’s a pleasure to cook and create mouth watering (and healthy) dishes with these ingredients.” Wanda conducts Tai Chi classes on site.
David is an award winning television director and editor. He loves to travel. “I have been to a lot of islands, but St. Lucia is the all around best. In St. Lucia, there is a volcano, tropical gardens, hot springs and warm waterfalls, all on one island. I keep finding new places all the time.” David has climbed both Pitons and he earned his scuba license in St. Lucia. “This island is full of water and plants and all kinds of life. It really is paradise.”

The most beautiful Bay in the Caribbean. All year round, Marigot Bay is the home of dozens of sailboats which choose our tropical fjord as one of the nicest natural anchorage in the Caribbean. Opening onto the Caribbean sea, Marigot Bay is conveniently situated 20 minutes South of Castries, the Island's Capital City, 45 minutes South of Pigeon Island National Park and 60 minutes North of the majestic Pitons.
