Caesarea is a town in Israel on the outskirts of Caesarea Maritima, the ancient port city. It is located mid-way between Tel Aviv (45km) and Haifa, on the Israeli Mediterranean coast near the city of Hadera.

To the northeast, across the sparkling waters of the harbor sits the medieval walled fortress city of Acre.
