Welcome to the Otago Golf Club, in  Dunedin, New Zealand.  The Otago Golf Club is the oldest Golf club in the Southern Hemisphere.   Our championship course, Balmacewen, is recognised as one of the finest in New Zealand.  Otago Golf Club has hosted some of the greatest players of our game.   Our invitation is for you to join them. Otago Golf Club welcomes visitors, although we recommend that an enquiry is made to ensure that the Course is available.  Otago Golf Club is located within a 5 minute drive of the cental business area of Dunedin and in close proximity to visitor accommodation.

The historic Balmacewen Course is widely recognised as one of the country's finest. It provides players with a unique blend of links and parkland Golf.

Expansive views of the City of Dunedin, the Otago Peninsula and the surrounding hills await its players at Otago Golf Club.

A full bar and catering service is available to members and visitors to Otago Golf Club.

The Clubhouse is an excellent venue for weddings and similar occasions.  Panoramic views across the Course and the city, spacious parking and proximity to Dunedin's accommodation precinct are all aspects that prove attractive to event organisers.
