Le Moule is the sixth-largest commune in the French overseas departement of Guadeloupe. It is located on the northeast side of the island of Grande-Terre. In the 1999 census, Le Moule had a population of 20,827. The commune has a land area of 82.84 km² (31.985 sq mi). The population density is 251.4 persons per km².

Pointe-a-Pitre is the largest city of Guadeloupe, an overseas region and departement of France located in the Lesser Antilles, of which it is a sous-prefecture, being the seat of the Arrondissement of Pointe-a-Pitre.
