Munxar or Il-Munxar is a village which lies on the southern side of Gozo Island, Malta, close to the village of Sannat. It has its own local village council. Munxar population is 1,019 persons (Nov 2005).

Gharb is a village located at the westernmost point of the island of Gozo, Malta, with a population of 1,160 people (Nov 2005). It started life as a small hamlet centuries ago.
