Bridport is a small town on the north-east coast of Tasmania, Australia. It is part of the Dorset Council.

Located on Anderson Bay, Bridport is a popular holiday location with the population increasing markedly in summer. It has beautiful beaches, safe swimming, sailing and other water sports.

In 2008 a plan was approved to extend the course a further 18 holes. Most of the accommodation is over rated, the rooms are called cottages but they are really only bedrooms with bathrooms, no cooking facilities,no relaxing lounge rooms.
