Sao Vicente (Portuguese for "Saint Vincent"), also Son Visent or Son Sent in Cape Verdean Creole, is one of the Barlavento islands of Cape Verde. The island is larger than Singapore but apart from a very small area around the only township, is covered in native forest or tussock. Tramping tracks take you into more remote areas. There are comfortable huts at reasonable intervals.

Rebun Island lies in the Sea of Japan off the northwestern tip of Hokkaido, Japan.
