    Gleninchaquin Park in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland is located on the North West side of the Beara Peninsula and is a long narrow coombe valley with spectacular waterfall that feeds the succession of lakes along the valley floor. Created approximately 70,000 years ago by glaciation, the valley features wonderful flora and trees as well as an abundance of birdlife including numerous birds of prey, also in residenc are red squirrels, stoat and the Kerry slug, and the valley plays host to many migrants. Gleninchaquin Park is steeped in history, and today features stone circles, standing stones, an earthen ring fort, burial sites and fulacht fiadh where natives from long ago would have cooked their meals, come for a wonderful visit and learn about the heritage, botany, geology and so much more, it's a memorable experience.
