Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh
Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh in Brecon, Wales, was opened in 1935 and houses an outstanding collection of military artefacts that depict details of great British History events. The Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh also displays archive material that include personal and official diaries, some that have never been published, and serious researchers and students can access these archives by appointment. The Medal Room at our museum has an extensive collection of more than 3000 medals, and visitors are given an insight into the difficult and challenging circumstances pertaining to these medals. We offer formal workshops for school groups as well as casual sessions for other groups.
