Atlantis Leisure is owned and operated by the community. We are extremely proud of our facilities and the services on offer-the best in the West Highlands-and are delighted to welcome visitors and locals alike to enjoy sport and leisure time with us at Atlantis.
In 1992, Oban and Lorn Community Enterprise Company trading as Atlantis Leisure leased Oban Swimming Pool from Argyll & Bute Council. During the first two years we added a fitness suite, 45-metre flume and children's outdoor play park. With the help of local and national funding the new sports centre was opened in 1998. In 2000 the bouldering wall was opened, and an all-weather outdoor 5-a-side synthetic grass pitch was completed in 2004.
