Blakeney Under Fives,is managed by a committee made up of elected volunteer parents. These members are elected at the Annual General Meeting which is held in the Autumn term of each year.

Blakeney Under Fives,offers a safe, happy and friendly learning environment for children from 2 years and nine months to starting school.

Blakeney Under Fives,playgroup is a registered charity group, a member of Gloucestershire Playgroup and Toddler Association (PATA) and is also registered with OFSTED. The playgroup is a community group run by an elected committee and officers made up of volunteer Parents/ Carers.

The playgroup is situated in the grounds of Blakeney Primary School, in the village of Blakeney in the Royal Forest of Dean. Blakeney Under Fives School is based in a brand new purpose built building which has child sized toilets, kitchen, secure outside play areas for outdoor games and bike riding. Blakeney Under Fives School also have use of a large field, wildlife area and vegetable patch all within the security of the school grounds. The commitment of Blakeney Under Fives' staff is to enable children to explore opportunities through play, which will support their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
