Oxalis - Within walking distance of Koksijde’s beach (Belgium), chef 'Ignace Lootens' has founded his four-leaf clover.
For the setting of his restaurant, he chose a marvellous detatched villa, built in a French style, named: 'Oxalis' (greek for lucky clover)

Through a nicely lit glass construction Oxalis is entered. This veranda sets the mood of what’s awaiting on our small but refined menu, filled with French and Belgian specialities.

Our head chef 'Lieven Vanexem', a born West Flanderen, completed his studies at the re-nound cooking school of Koksijde ‘Ter Duinen’. After training courses at the ‘Impérial Ga-rouppe’ and the ‘La Réserve de Beaulieu’ by the French Côte d’Azur, he was employed at Bruges’ ‘De Florentijnen’ and by Kobe Desramoult at his ‘In de Wulf’ in Dranouter.
