Zoo du Faron in Toulon, Var, France | Zoo

Created in 1969 per Roger George De Souza, the Zoo of Faron is located at 585 meters of altitude at the top of the Faron Mount, which dominates the city of Toulon. The access to the Zoo can be done by the panoramic road, by the cable car, also by hiking the roads. The Zoo of Faron is within approximately 800 meters of the higher station of the cable car.
The park of 1,5 hectares is strewn with small alleys which skirt the various enclosures. The vegetation which decorates the place is typical Mediterranean climate and the cicadas offer a picturesque sound environment at Zoo du Faron.
