Welcome to West Down Guest House offering superb bed and breakfast accommodation in glorious Exmoor, North Devon, United Kingdom.
This en-suite B&B accommodation is tastefully furnished and has all the fine touches that you would expect in a farm guest house. We have recently added two ground floor rooms suitable for wheelchair access / restricted mobility with en-suite ?wet rooms?.
The West Down Guest House is located on the edge of Exmoor between Barnstaple, Umberleigh and Torrington, and are ideally situated for exploring National Trust houses such as Arlington Court, also RHS Rosemoor and the South West Coastal Path and villages including Clovelly, Hartland and Instow.
Or simply come to unwind and enjoy excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Each of the spacious rooms has their own special unique design for your comfort. The rooms have plenty of Devon character, such as original beams and country pine furniture, offering a warm ambience. All of the bedrooms benefit from fabulous views over rolling Devon countryside giving an air of relaxation and tranquility.
The many repeat guests compliment us on the comfort and ?home from home? feeling of our accommodation, and specifically request their favourite bedroom. All rooms are well equipped with colour television, hospitality trays, hair dryer and iron. We have added many little extras to make your stay both comfortable and memorable.
We have rooms specially adapted to be suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility, which are directly accessible from the car park.
