Welcome to Velwell House in Totnes, Devon, United Kingdom. Boasting breathtaking views of the Devon countryside, recently renovated Velwell House is set in six acres. Light and airy, it brings together contemporary design with original Victorian features. Your host, Val Jones will be delighted to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Close to the A38, it is ideally placed for visiting Dartington Hall, Totnes, Dartmoor and Torbay.
The split-level long bedroom at Velwell House has three different outlooks including fine views of Dartmoor. With king size bed and sitting area, this is a very spacious room. It has a digital television and sitting area, all complemented by a contemporary large en-suite bathroom (shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and WC).
Reputedly built for a sea captain in the mid 19th century, Velwell House is now a family home which occasionally opens as an art gallery particularly in September when Val, a painter and printmaker, takes part in Devon Open Studios.
