Welcome to Strathness House in Inverness, Highland, Scotland. Strathness House is a privately and family run Guest House with all the facilities that you would expect from a small hotel. Set in a prime area of the city, the emphasis is on personal service with a homely, Highland touch. Services are personally centred around each guest. From small groups to the single traveller, all are guaranteed a very warm Highland welcome.
All rooms are en-suite with many rooms having a river view. There is free wireless internet access, * 24hr reception, Single, Twin, Double and Family Rooms available and the Guest House is ideally situated in the centre of Inverness.
The name Strathness House was reinstated in October 2007 by its present owners Joan and Javed, who will be happy to tell you more about the history of Strathness House on your visit.
Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with attention given to the needs of our guests. All rooms have private en-suite facilities, flatscreen TV with Freeview, Hostess Tray, direct dial telephone and free internet access to all guests with wireless-enabled laptops. 8 out of our 12 rooms have river views and are situated across two floors.
Our rooms are a combination of single, twin, double and family rooms (family rooms are able to accommodate 3 persons). Feel free to get in touch with any questions you may wish to discuss with us.
Evening meals are available on request each evening from Monday to Saturday, and can be enjoyed in our Resident's Riverview Restaurant, allowing you to relax with beautiful views of the River Ness.
