The Seahorse Restaurant in Dartmouth, Devon, United Kingdom, is the brainchild of award winning restaurateur, food writer, chef and founder of the renowned FishWorks chain Mitch Tonks and long term friends Mark Ely and Mat Prowse. Inspired by travels in the Mediterranean, The Seahorse Restaurant, with seats for 40 diners, offers an experience with great food served in relaxed but informal surroundings.
Located on the waterfront overlooking the river Dart in Dartmouth, Devon, The Seahorse Restaurant specialises in Seafood and simple grilled meat dishes as well as house specialities. Dishes include a starter of Dartmouth crab, dressed to order, a plate of local fried Seafood, a cutlet of English veal with anchovy and parsley or chicken livers wrapped in sage and grilled over wood burning fires.
Our courtesy launch, Pearlfisher, can take guests across the river at the end of the evening up until midnight but please make sure to book. This service is for the exclusive use of guests of The Seahorse Restaurant and can take a maximum of 4 persons.
