The Refectory

The Refectory in Rome, Lazio, Italy | Hotel Restaurant

The Refectory, a breakfast room in Rome, Lazio, Italy, is used in recollection of the monasteries where the monks used to gather three times a day for meals, preceded and accompanied by prayers. Next to The Refectory, you will find a small, friendly sitting room, which is open to the guests, also offering bar service.
A cosy sitting room known as "The Library" is at the disposal of the guests, who, as in the other public rooms, can enjoy a good read or talk with friends, and be served refreshments by the bar service.
A buffet American breakfast, included in the room charge, is served in The Refectory where the Fathers formerly used to meet to pray and have their meals, and where lunches or dinners, or small meetings for a maximum of 60 people, can be arranged upon request.
Beyond the imposing entrance door to the Palace, leaving the noise and hubbub of daily life in Rome, Lazio, is a beautiful silent cloister. At The Rectory, guests can sit and feast their eyes on the scenery, with a wide range of drinks, cocktails and snacks.
