Club members play both Golf Croquet and Association Croquet.
For both games the Ramsgate Croquet Club has nationally qualified coaches and tuition is free as is the use of all equipment. It is a game which can be played by all ages - our youngest member is nine and the oldest ninety! A handicap system ensures that players at all levels can compete against each other.
This all sounds fun.
What do I need to start playing Croquet?
Just a pair of flat-bottomed shoes. The Ramsgate Croquet Club can provide a mallet for you to use. No need to join the Club immediately - come along any Tuesday at 10 o'clock, after the start of the season in April and find out more about the game. The Club fields teams for Golf and Association League matches and entry to the Club Competitions is open to all members.
The Club hold four Croquet Association Open Tournament weekends each year and two Golf Croquet Championship weekends in early and late June.
Why not visit Ramsgate this year? If you apply early you will be able to enjoy Croquet on some of the best lawns in the Country.
