The Pyle and Porthcawl Photographic Society is open to anyone having an interest in Photography in any of its many guises. The Society aims to encourage and support its members in their interest providing the opportunity to benefit from the support of other fellow photographers and to draw upon a wide knowledge base. If you live locally or on holiday in the area and what's on our programme interests you, you are most welcome to come along.

The Pyle and Porthcawl Photographic Society was formed in 1967 and was initially located in Kenfig Hill Rugby Club. Later it moved to Pyle Leisure Centre. From 1986 the club moved to the Ponderosa. In recent times the club has embraced the digital Photography revolution and is a respected local society that is highly active.

The Rest in Rest Bay, where the Society is located is a well known location for locals. The Rest is next to the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. Most locals will know this famous landmark.

The Pyle and Porthcawl Photographic Society, United Kingdom, have around 30 members, ranging in ability and age and always welcome new members. If you are interested, come to the next meeting to see for yourself. The Photographic Society meet every Thursday evening at 7.30pm at The Rest, Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
