Porta Giulia Bed and Breakfast located in Mantova, Lombardy in Italy is named after Porta Giulia, one of the gates that used to give access to Mantua/Mantova arriving from the North, and so called because planned by Giulio Romano.

It belonged to the defensive structure beyond ponte dei Mulini ? the citadel -, that doesn?t exist anymore, if not in the name of the area and that of our street: Via Degli Spalti (Glacis Street).

From Porta Giulia Bed and Breakfast located in Mantova, the centre is 5 min by car, 10 min by bike or if you prefer to go on foot you can take a walk enjoying the lakeside of the Lombardy region of Italy.

Lake fishing - The lake is a few metres from our B&B. In our facilities you can easily store your equipment. Previous arrangements it is possible to access the services of a fishing club on the lakeside, like renting or haulage of boats.
