Just use the crosswalk at the corner and you can swim, surf and sunbathe at the beach. Our incredibly beautiful beach has been named one of the top 10 beaches in the USA by both the Travel Channel and the Surfrider Foundation. Stop by the front desk on the way and borrow some beach towels.

"What else is near you?"
Directly behind us is a lovely park with children's play equipment. Just beyond the parkAmbiance and vacation comfort at Newport Channel Inn is the Newport Shores Channel, where a variety of ducks, California Brown Pelicans and Snowy White Egrets hang out. The ducks often come quacking through our flower gardens looking for snacks. Some of our Guest Rooms with King-size beds have a view of the channel.

Good restaurants and cafes are on both sides of us,Vacations in Orange County California with other dining choices a short walk away. A small convenience store and surfboard and bike rental shops are also steps away. Free public tennis courts and an on-the-beach bike and jogging path are across the street. Restaurant row is about a mile south, where you can dine overlooking the bay.
