Museum fur Urgeschichte located in Zug, is a Museum of Prehistory of Zug, and was newly opened in 1997, schools and families as well as archaeologists will find an up-to date exhibition with archaeological finds from the Canton of Zug in Switzerland.

Lifelike human figures and settlement models with illustrated stories from the Late Stone Age to the Early Middle Ages show scenes from everyday life. Each scene is underlaid with a collage of sounds.

Museum fur Urgeschichte has a nostalgic corner with three wooden show-cases from the old Museum that provides a look back at the early archaeological research in the Canton of Zug.

There is even a special place that only children are allowed to enter, where you can touch and use everything. There you will find games, books and other exciting things. You can even climb the rope.
