Mergozzo Canoe Club was founded in 1985 with the aim of promoting the Olympic sport of canoeing and since then has won many competition titles in the category of Italian Boys, Junior and Senior male and female. Investments by the Mergozzo Canoe Club have helped put canoeing on lake Mergazzo firmly in the national racing calendar. Courses are available for schools and professional coaches teach the youngsters.
