Memphis Botanic Garden is a member of the American Public Gardens Association. The APGA is committed to increasing the knowledge of public garden professionals so they may better serve the communities in which they live and work.

Memphis Botanical Garden is also a member of the American Horticultural Society, which provides  members with free admission to reciprocal gardens across the country in the United States.
