Welcome to Marlow Youth Choir, United Kingdom. Marlow Youth Choir is a non-profit community based Choir for 8-16yr olds that started in June 2005 with 26 eager children who dared to audition! Marlow Youth Choir is made up of children from every school in Marlow and some beyond! With a vision of a fun kids Choir that sung modern popular songs, Jo Noel-Hartley's expert leadership and passion has extracted their talent, developed and crafted it into something of excellence for everyone to enjoy!
Jo also wanted to encourage a sense of community in the young and showcase how professional singing tuition can improve voices of any age, and develop young people's self-confidence and performance abilities.
Professionals watching the Choir have commented on their amazing focus and vocal technique for such young children who, after having been working with Jo for only 14 weeks won Gold Medals in 2 major Music Festivals, amazing more established Choirs!
The Choir now has over 60 members, and rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 4pm at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, Marlow.
There are over 60 members of Marlow Youth Choir. Membership is through audition. Once accepted, there is a membership fee that includes a Marlow Youth Choir t-shirt and termly fees.
