Surrounded by green pastures and native bush, all under the peak of Mount Taranaki (Egmont), is Kingfisher Cottage. While staying at our fully self contained accommodation you can relax at the Cottage or enjoy the many activities available in the surrounding district or the city of New Plymouth. Winding pathways through gardens of native flora and fauna entice the guests down to the banks of the stream to retreat and relax to the lull of running mountain water.



The Mangatoki Stream is the home of the brown trout with the season being October to April .



The novelty of the firepit enables cooking of the fresh catch or local seafood.



Fine all cotton linen is used in Kingfisher Cottage which provides self-catering accommodation for up to four persons with a fully-appointed kitchen, barbecue and gas heating.
