We have disabled access, for wheelchairs at street level outside and also an access ramp to the Bar level inside. We also have separate toilet facilities with disabled access. If you need assistance please ask one of our friendly Bar staff.
Linda Galloway is the chef at The Kensington Bar and Kitchen and has her own catering company called Daffodil Soup. Sarah Simmons, Landlady, says, "I was extremely lucky to find her after going through a few different "chefs". It is such a hard job to find the right person, but Linda came recommended via a regular of ours".
When Sarah bought the Bar she felt one of the first things she needed to do was completely re-do the whole menu. She and the team decided the area needed a cool place to eat really good food. Still keeping the traditional fish and chips, burgers etc., but prepared and cooked to a high and tasty standard whilst also including some different foods like duck and tuna. The Kensington vary the menu about twice a week. Sarah adds, "We are still learning what people want and what they don't want but I believe we are getting there
