Welcome to Islesburgh House, Lerwick, Scotland. Islesburgh House is Shetland's main Youth Hostel, situated in central Lerwick and offering quality accommodation to the budget traveller and local groups.

Open April to September, Islesburgh House is equipped for every hosteller’s need, and is fully accessible to disabled users. The Hostel has limited availability from October to March for groups of 10 or more. The comfortable accommodation is provided in dormitories, group and family rooms.

Islesburgh House,is conveniently close to most amenities and services, and the extensive schedule of transport services make Lerwick Youth Hostel an ideal base from which to explore the rest of Shetland.

A very well equipped self catering kitchen is available for hostelers, while the House Cafe is a popular eating place for tourists and local residents.

Wholefoods and healthier options are served in our relaxing cafe which enjoys special views of Lerwick's flower parks, tennis court and bowling green.
