The Hoops Inn are ideally located in Clovelly to explore the South West of England with it's patchwork quilt landscape of small fields set in gently rolling countryside, picture postcard villages, secluded beaches and the dramatic Atlantic coastline. The Hoops Inn is within easy driving distance of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, the North Cornwall coast and the cities of Plymouth and Exeter in the United Kingdom.

Close at hand there are hidden coves and small bays to discover, the picturesque and historic towns of Bideford and Barnstaple to visit, the golden sandy beaches of Westward Ho!, Instow and Croyde to relax upon and of course the unique experience that is Clovelly. The Hoops Inn has been a landmark on the main route from North Devon via Clovelly to Cornwall for as long as anyone can remember. In fact there has been a hostelry on this spot welcoming travellers to this beautiful and remote part of the English countryside since the 13th Century.

Today, under the stewardship of the new owners Gerry and Dee Goodwin, The Hoops is still a beacon to both locals and visitors wishing to find great food & drink, a warm welcome and stylish accommodation.
