Welcome to Heritage Tours, Cairns, Australia. Heritage Tours Safaris is a Cairns owned and operated safari company, established in 1989. We have been crossing the Cape area since our establishment. Our aim is to show you the most beautiful spots on Cape York and, with this in mind, we have developed an itinerary suitable for everyone, with activity options available to suit all age groups. We have developed equipment equal to the best, but kept it simple and practical to meet all the needs of our safari.

At Heritage Tours our itinerary allows for maximum time to be spent in those areas we have found to be the most appealing to everyone. It is based on Cape York, so we avoid spending your time around the Cairns area. Our driver-guides are fully-trained in all areas of knowledge and hold current first aid certificates for your peace of mind. They will also prepare you a wide range of menus using a camp oven and traditional bush-cooking methods, but presented in a fine style.

You will travel in a modern, air-conditioned four wheel-drive safari vehicle with forward-facing seats. Each vehicle is fitted with a winch and a satellite phone for your safety and peace of mind. All vehicles comply with the Queensland Department of Transport's regulations and are inspected bi-annually.
