Green Gables Bed & Breakfast is the perfect adult getaway, whether you are taking a romantic break, on vacation or in town for business. Green Gables is a warm and friendly Victorian-style home one block from the Pacific Ocean and one of the most beautiful stretches of sandy beach on the Oregon coast. We are within easy walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants and are neighbors to the Newport Performing Arts Center, a great place to take in a play or movie. Both our guest rooms have queen beds with down comforters, cable TV, DVD/VCR player, refrigerator, microwave and a private bathroom with a two-person whirlpool tub. Enjoy the cozy warmth of a wood stove in the common area on the main floor where you can read a good book, select a movie from our large library of classic & current movie titles, or just enjoy the weather - sunshine or winter storm. Popcorn, teas, coffee and cocoa are provided in your room. Breakfast is served in our coffeehouse & bakery where you have a choice of one of our many fresh baked pastries and expertly made espresso drinks, served together with a delicious piece of quiche or a hearty skillet made with potatoes and eggs.
