Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum and Exlibrissamling in Frederikshavn showcases annually changing exhibitions of Danish and international contemporary art and also houses the largest collection of bookplates in Europe and Scandinavia, which places the museum internationally. Karl Bovin, one of Denmark's greatest landscape painters has a large exhibition of his art at Frederikshavn Kunstmuseum and Exlibrissamling, as well as works by Poul Sorensen, Eyvind Karup Nielsen and Paul Erland Jensen.
