What is Dorset Museum Club for?
Dorset Museum Club in Dorchester, United Kingdom, was set up to provide an exciting junior membership scheme for young people up to the age of 15 who wish to become more involved with Dorset County Museum and to learn about its collections and resources. It also provides a special programme of organised activities designed to inspire, inform and entertain its members.
Club Membership at Dorset Museum Club allows younger people to explore the Museum on their own terms and to gain interesting insights through special 'behind the scenes' experiences. As these are often provided at times when the Museum is officially closed to other visitors, members of Dorset Museum Club can discover what really happens after everyone else has gone home.
At Dorset Museum Club in Dorchester we have totally updated Museum Club Membership by putting together a joining pack for new members. This includes a membership card, badge, postcards, flying Pterosaur glider and various Museum trails and quizzes, all contained in a smart blue pack.
