Welcome to Coral Lodge Bed and Breakfast in Townsville, Australia. The two self contained studio units and eight guest rooms all have TV, air conditioning, fridge, fan and telephone. Units have kitchenettes and the guest rooms enjoy the use of a kitchen exclusive for guest use.
Nestled into the base of Stanton Hill, Coral Lodge is quiet, private and peaceful while the city and all it has to offer is just a short stroll away. Rest and relax in our large tropical garden or enjoy one the many attractions close by.
Built in th 1920's, Coral Lodge was originally a Queenslander home with two large internal rooms surrounded by wide verandahs. Sometime during The Depression years it was lifted and converted to an inn called Coral House with two self contained units and eight guest rooms.
When John and I stumbled upon it for sale in 1994 it was sad and derelict but still had a feeling of warmth and welcome that pleaded with us to buy and renovate. So we did. Coral Lodge is now a comfortable, charming and affordable Bed and Breakfast inn for travelers to rest and relax.
Modern convenience such as air conditioning, televisions and telephones plus its close proximity to the city centre makes it a wonderful base from which to explore Townsville and surrounds.
