The Chart House is centrally heated and double glazed. It is one road back from the seafront and a three minute walk to the seashore.

There is a private indoor swimming pool for hire at the property next door.

Brook and Marion own The Chart House and bought the"house-next -door" in 1996. Brook already had experience of letting out a holiday home after renovating Captain's Folly, a Victorian house on Gosport's Hardway.

Lee-on-the-Solent is a small quiet coastal town 5 miles west of Portsmouth in the Borough of Gosport. It was once a favoured bathing place for Victorians because of the pebbled beach which gently slopes into the sea, ideal for swimming. Today the beach is very popular with all kinds of water sports enthusiasts, with dedicated areas of the beach for dinghy sailors, wind-surfers, kite surfers, jet skiers and gliders.
