Cellerini, Firenze, Italy, was born in 1956 when Silvano and his wife, Anna Maria, opened a workshop for the repair of fine handbags. The demand for their services grew very rapidly and, at the urging of their increasingly more numerous customers, Anna and Silvano were encouraged to use their excellent talents to create designs of their own.

Their new endeavor was so successful that in l960 the Cellerinis moved their workshop and store to the Via del Sole in the historic center of Florence, where the workshop and the store are located and still to be found today.

Since 1984, the Cellerini's daughter, Alessandra, and her husband have furthered the development of the prestigious Cellerini firm which, for many decades, has proudly served not only the Florentine nobility but discerning clients throughout Italy and the world.

Cellerini's designs have evolved creatively with time. However, the highly skilled artisan production which has always distinguished the name of Cellerini, and for which it is renowned and esteemed, has been faithfully maintained.
