Welcome to the Carlton Hotel, located in the beautiful cathedral City of Truro in England in the United Kingdom. We are ideally placed to cater for business people and tourists alike. On foot, we are less than 10 minutes from the city centre. By road, our mid peninsular location ensures that nowhere in Cornwall should be more than an hours drive away. With a traditional restaurant, licensed bar, function rooms, leisure facility, car parking, a central location and an easygoing approach, we are perfect for either a holiday or business visit to Truro in England. The Carlton Hotel was originally a Victorian merchant's house and was converted into a Hotel in the 1950s. Twice extended the Hotel now has 29 en-suite rooms ranging from family rooms through to single occupancy rooms in a range of styles. Ten minutes walk from the city centre situated in a mostly residential area. The Carlton Hotel is still a traditionally run small family Hotel.

The 29 Bedrooms are all en-suite with television including satellite channels Sky 1, Sky Sports 1.
All accommodation is equipped with a hospitality tray, hairdryer and direct dial telephone.

As an older building rooms vary in style and size from the high ceiling Victorian rooms in the older part of the building which have mostly been converted to family rooms to the more modern small double rooms in the newer parts of the building.

We have several ground floor bedrooms including one room adapted for guests with disabilities that has direct wheelchair access from the rear car park.

Hotel facilities include a licensed restaurant, well stocked bar, comfortable lounges and meeting rooms. The Hotel has free on site car parking and a spa-bath/sauna leisure facility for the sole use of Hotel guests. We have a BT Open Zone Hotspot for access to wireless broadband.

Meetings
Only 10 minutes from the city centre with our own parking the Hotel is a convenient venue for Meetings.

For smaller Meetings The Rose Room (27 m2) is situated at the front of the Hotel and can be hired as a meeting room, stock/showroom or for small family gatherings. It can hold a maximum of 14 seated at a boardroom table or up to 25 seated theatre style. This room has a BT Open Zone Hotspot for wireless broadband.

For larger Meetings The Function Room (65 m2) can cater for up to 60 in theatre style seating or 24 in a classroom layout. It has a maximum capacity of 36 seated at a boardroom table.

RESTAURANT
Our restaurant offers locally sourced produce cooked to order at affordable prices. We cater for family functions and business events. Full english breakfast is included in our room rates. A traditional silver service dinner is available every night for our guests.
