Lake District Weddings at the Broad Water Suite and Lime Trees Room where a special day requires special places! At Armathwaite Hall we understand this well. This striking 17th century former stately home set in 400 acres of delightful grounds on the edge of Bassenthwaite Lake could not be any more special whatever the season. From the delicate scents and scenery of a budding spring to the glory of a Lakeland summer, the rich auburns and golds of autumn to the majesty of snow capped winter fells and mountains. Surely nowhere offers such a breathtakingly romantic backdrop.

Now open is the beautiful new Broad Water Suite situated within our new spa development. The function room seats up to 150 guests and has stunning views across the gardens with floor to ceiling windows running two lengths of the room. Fully air conditioned with state of the art sound system, dance floor and bar this will be the ultimate in luxury. Huge glass doors will open onto a private terrace for those balmy summer nights for guests to spill out and enjoy the Lake District evenings. This will give us the opportunity to host wedding breakfasts later in the day followed by an evening function.

In addition The Lime Trees Room, is now available offering a spacious light and airy room for civil weddings, meetings and celebration functions. The stunning ground floor room with spectacular crystal light feature, once again offers a wall of glass doors which open out onto a large decked area overlooking landscapes gardens ideal for drinks receptions.
