Blakeney is a long-established Sailing Club on the North Norfolk coast. and situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The stretch of water that is used for Sailing on is simply magnificent and protected by a spit which leads to Blakeney point. The Sailing is dependent on the tide, and typically Sailing can be enjoyed for and hour and a half either side of the high. The start times for the racing can range from early morning to early evening, Each has its advantages. The excitement of an early start with the promise of a breakfast in the club house afterwards, or the relaxation of an evening sail with perhaps a pint in the pub later.The Blakeney Sailing Club aims to promote enjoyable Sailing. This Sailing can also be challenging - it is often windy, and can provide 'vintage' experiences such as a 2 mile spinnaker reach from Blakeney Point to Blakeney Cut with a force 4 Northerly, great fun and unforgettable.
