Beech Park Golf Club in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland | Golf

Beech Park Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Rathcoole Village in County Dublin. It lies within a 30 minute drive of Dublin Airport and a short  drive of central Dublin. Consequently, it is ideally located for Golfers travelling from abroad.
Beech Park Golf Course was designed by Eddie Hackett  who also designed such renowned courses as Enniscrone, Malahide and the links at Waterville & Killarney. Beech Park Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland Golf course measuring 5,762 metres from the championship tees and comprises a par of 72 for men and 73 for ladies.
Our newly expanded and renovated clubhouse at Beech Park Golf Course is now open to members and guests alike, and is the perfect place to relax after a day on the greens.
In March of 1983, nearly 400 members of Bodenstown Golf Club became Golfers without a home. A special general meeting was held and was attended by 420 members. At this meeting the great majority decided to leave the establishment near Naas where they had been based, as tenants, for the previous ten years.
Their new home was to be a part of the Johnstown Kennedy Estate, two miles from Rathcoole, where they had purchased 110 acres of land with a view to having a course of their own.
The site was large enough to allow construction of a Golf course of 6,400 yards with a par of 72.
The club remained affiliated to the G.U.I. retaining the name "Bodenstown Golf Club" and with members retaining their existing handicaps. However within a few months of the move, it was decided to change the name to "Beech Park Golf Club".
