Beachy Cove Cafe is owned by Brenda and Doug Cole.  It was opened in 1989 on the site of their old family home (now about one hundred and fifty years old) which was purchased in 1980.

After additions to the house and raising a family, Brenda, a Laboratory Technologist and a university graduate, decided to retire and create a little tea room.  The tea room became a sixty seat restaurant.

Doug retired in 2002 and helps out with the restaurant and runs their two room B&B.

Beachy Cove Cafe has won a Star of Excellence from WHERE TO EAT IN Canada for three consecutive years.  It was featured in The Newfoundland Herald as a restaurant recommended by tourists, and was recently featured on the NTV news (province and Caribbean wide newscast) Places to go with Sharon Snow.
