The Aquarium has adopted a new ecological system of operation and your visit will be a unique experience, whether you are very young or old.
Our numerous tanks and pools, in five buildings contain examples of the rich aquatic life found on and around our beautiful tropical island, Mauritius.
Our largest tank, 'The Deep', over 15m long, holds a variety of deep sea creatures, including sharks and a giant moray eel, which can be viewed at close quarters, 'without the fear of being eaten'.
A "touch pool" gives our younger visitors a chance to interact with a varied number of species while their accompanying adults refresh themselves with a drink and a light snack while taking in the stunning view of the natural sea cove at Pointe aux Piments.
Our shop provides inspiration for that special gift and souvenir to share the experience with others.
