New South Wales offer various tourist attractions in the Shoal Bay Area:
Located next to the "Heads", Shoal Bay has always been considered the heart of the holiday area in New South Wales. The sweeping beach fronting Shoal Bay is clean, the water is clear and sparkling.
Dolphin and Whale Watching cruises together with evening cruises are very popular.
There is a 2 lane boat ramp giving easy access to the Heads for the outside fisherman. Excellent rock Fishing is available from the Headland or Bay Beaches (check Marine Park zoning first).
Catamarans, paddle boats, surfskis, canoes and jet skis are for hire on the water. On shore, bikes, single, tandem and quad are also available. Even a great cycle way from Shoal to Fingal Bay.
Para Sailing is also available in the warm months. Great bush walks are provided in the National Park to the peaks of the headlands.
There are Tennis courts, a shopping centre, great restaurants and the Gamefish Club all on or near the beach front.
