The Alexandria Zoological Park

The Alexandria Zoological Park in Alexandria, Virginia, United States | Zoo | Garden | Wildlife

The Alexandria Zoological Park in Alexandria, Virginia, strives to encourage a deeper understanding of our natural world and also promote conservation. Zoos are great for family outings, and with increased attendance resulting in better revenue, we are able to secure better living conditions for all our Zoo animals. The Alexandria Zoological Park is one of a mere 20 Zoos that house Malayan tigers, and we are proud of the rare Zoo births of maned wolves, clouded leopards, African servals and others. Our two majestic African lions are housed in a large habitat with amazing rock formations and waterfall, and the Asian area allows visitors to get close to tigers and clouded leopard through large viewing glass windows. Well designed Zoos aim at enhancing the quality life of their animals, and at The Alexandria Zoological Park we are proud of the unique environment that our animals live in.
